Designed to meet the needs of cloud computing, virtualization, and high-performance computing, Transcend's DDR4 R-DIMMs and VLP (Very Low Profile) R-DIMMs are fully compatible with the Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v3 family of processors ("Haswell-EP"). Each R-DIMM module is constructed with top-quality DRAM chips and rated at 2133MHz, translating into data transmission rates of up to 17GB/s. Operated at a nominal voltage of just 1.2V, Transcend's DDR4 R-DIMMs and VLP R-DIMMs reduce electrical load on the memory controller, and offer power savings of up to 40% compared to standard 1.5V DDR3 modules.
